Tina and Derek met on the first day of school during their sophomore year in August 2005.

 

Although Tina and Derek met in high school, they are not high school sweethearts.

 

Fast forward five years later - they rekindled their friendship in September 2010, which very soon turned into more.

 

They have been together learning, loving, and growing ever since.
