What are the pre and post wedding activities?
Wedding festivities will take place November 11th - 14th, with the wedding itself on Saturday, November 12th. We have plenty of fun activities planned and are looking forward to spending time with you! What should I make sure to pack?
Passport, outfit and shoes that you will wear to the wedding, swimsuit(s), flip flops / sandals, outfits for lounging around the beach and resort, sun protection: hat, sunglasses, reef-safe sunblock, mosquito protection, personal medications and sanitary items - For those attending the Catamaran Tour on 11/13, bring a suitable outfit for the tour; goggles / snorkel gear if you want to see in the water. If you do not bring your own, they will have snorkel gear available to borrow. Keep in mind the risks of using equipment previously used by someone else.
What is the wedding dress code?
Our ceremony will be held on the beach with a semi-formal dress code. A shoe check will be available prior to entering the beach.
Is your ceremony unplugged?
Yes, we are asking that you please leave your phones in your room or in your purse during the ceremony. We will have a videographer and photographer and want to ensure they get the best, unobstructed shots. We will be sure to share them with you once we have them.
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
Yes! If you post to social media after the ceremony, please use the hashtag #GiveMeMoraThat. We want to collect as many pictures and memories of this weekend as possible.
Do we have to wear masks at the resort?
You do not have to, but please use your best judgment and do what is most comfortable for you and your guest.
What if I need to make changes to my reservation?
Since we are beyond the June 30th final payment deadline, the ability to get a refund/credit depends on whether you have travel insurance and what kind of change you need to make. Additionally, room rates may be different now since our pre-negotiated room rates were only secured through June 30th. Please reach out to the Just Book It Travel Team at info@justbookittravel.com who can work with you to determine what your options are.
What is the cancellation policy?
The initial $50 per person deposit originally used to RSVP is non-refundable. Since final balances were due on June 30th, 2022, any applicable refunds would only be possible if you purchased travel protection, through your travel protection provider. Please reach out to info@justbookittravel.com if you have any questions. Without travel protection insurance, the trip is non-refundable.
What is included in my resort room booking via Just Book It Travel??
All Inclusive Hotel Stay -Full access to all Private Wedding Events : All you can eat (gourmet restaurants and buffets), All you can drink (alcohol, mixed drinks, daiquiris, and non-alcoholic beverages), Entertainment (the resort will have daily and nightly activities including shows and a night club), Water Sports (kayaking, paddle boarding, and other non-motorized water sports are typically included), Room Service includes 24-hour room service of food. (Check the resort link in your invite for specific amenities offering at your resort).
Does Mexico charge any mandatory governmental fees?
Several Municipalities in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Isla Mujeres have enacted an Environmental Tax to help maintain beaches and ecosystems. This tax is not included in any packages and therefore may be assessed directly by the hotel upon check out. The cost of the tax is approximately $1.30 USD, per night, per room.
There is also a new Cancun Tourism Tax:
Effective April 1st, 2021, arriving international visitors to the Cancun (CUN) airport will be required to pay $11 for the privilege of visiting Cancun and surrounding areas.
Which airport should I arrive to/depart from ?
When searching for flights, the airport you are flying to is Cancun International Airport (CUN).
How do I get from the airport to the resort?
Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf Resort & Spa is a 60-minute drive one-way from CUN. Transportation is included if you booked via Just Book It Travel. If you did not book with Just Book It Travel, you can get taxis or shuttle transportation at the airport/resort. This option is usually more expensive when buying directly on the same day, so you may want to consider arranging transportation in advance. The round-trip private transportation offered by Just Book It Travel from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport it is a direct non-stop service, only guests from the wedding group will be transported in the same vehicle. Please make sure they have your flight and contact information. If you still need to book transportation, or have other specific requests, please email info@justbookittravel.com to inquire about other options.

What are the arrival instructions for the transportation?
Shuttle Central is in charge of the transportation arrangements.
Please verify your arrival flight details to your latest airline confirmation. (Keep in mind that airline schedules can change frequently from when originally booked).
When you land, clear customs, and claim your baggage, there will be lots of people trying to sell you transportation, excursions, and all sorts of things - walk straight and don't blink -- You will locate the SHUTTLE CENTRAL representative neat the welcome bar (Outside the terminal).
They may be hard to find - do not get discouraged. Their sign will say “Stacy & Pedro's Wedding” or just “Shuttle Central”. Ask Stacy & Pedro to make a soft intro to your travel companions sharing a shuttle with you prior to travel day so that the group can do a head count prior to taking off. The transportation company can only wait for one hour from the time the flight has landed, so it is important that you move fast through the airport. If you are unable to locate the representative, please call 786-723-6220 and mention your Service Number.
Please note: If you were to miss your flight, you will be responsible for arranging your transportation /paying for a cab from the airport to the resort.
Please print or screenshot your travel instructions email and be prepared to show this confirmation to the Shuttle Central representative along with your name.
What if my passport expires soon?
Valid passports are required at the time of travel.
