We ask that all guests please read our Q&A's. This will answer many questions that you will have in regards to traveling and logistics. Additionally, Kiani & Lulu our Travel Coordinators are available to answer any of your questions and assist with booking the best deal for you!
Q. Can I bring a guest or guests with me?
Since we are limited to the amount of guests that can attend our very intimate wedding, the event is invitation-only. Please contact Christiana & Paul for any special requests. All invited guests are more than welcome to bring additional travel companions and friends to enjoy the vacation with us. Just Book It Travel can arrange travel for these additional friends and family members coming to vacation, but not attending the reception.
Q. When is the RSVP date?
The resort has limited availability (due to social distancing and other factors), therefore, we are asking for family and close friends to RSVP by making a $50 per person deposit before October 31, 2021 to be added to our reserved room block and group activities.
Q. What are the suggested travel dates?
We want nothing more than for our friends and family to enjoy their VACATION :) . Please feel free to arrive as early in advance as you'd like and stay at the resort for as long as you'd like. Enjoy yourself, and VACATION :)
There is a minimum of stay of 3 nights.
Q. What is the payment schedule?
Deposit Due - non-refundable deposit, per person - Anytime before October 31, 2021.
Deposit Option 1: Without Travel Protection - $50 per person
Deposit Option 2: With Travel Protection - $50 + travel protection cost per person**
Final Balance Due - Anytime before March 31, 2022.
*Travel protection is recommended. All payments are non-refundable after March 31, 2022.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
The $50 deposit is non-refundable. We strongly recommend that each guest purchase Trip Protection from any trusted supplier. Final balances are due March 31, 2022. All rooms are under 100% cancellation following March 31st, 2022 and any applicable refunds must be requested from your travel protection supplier.
Example 1: Guest pays balance in full prior to March 31, 2022 and cancels prior to March 31, 2022. The $50 deposit is non-refundable. All other partial payments will be refunded. (Please file a claim directly with your Trip Protection provider for any non-refundable fees)
Example 2: Guest pays balance in full prior to March 31, 2022 and cancels following March 31, 2022. All payments are non-refundable following March 31, 2022. (Please file a claim directly with your Trip Protection provider for any non-refundable fees)
Q. Do I have to book with Just Book It Travel?
Yes, we request that all guests only utilize our dedicated planner and travel coordinators, Kiani & Lulu, as it will help us to keep the entire group organized and included in our planned group activities, and informed of logistics and frequent updates. Everyone will receive a group discount and a Price Match Guarantee so you’ll always pay less than the internet by using Just Book It Travel and most importantly, you will receive concierge level service from them. Additionally, Just Book It Travel has flexible payment plans, making your travel arrangements even more affordable and convenient. If you've ever tried to contact an online travel company to make changes or cancellations, you'll appreciate the benefit of using a local, boutique travel agency (especially during times of uncertainty).
Q. What does “All-Inclusive mean”?
All-Inclusive resorts offer: All you can eat (gourmet restaurants and buffets), All you can drink (alcohol, mixed drinks, daiquiris, and non-alcoholic beverages), Entertainment (the resort will have daily and nightly activities including shows and a night club), Water Sports (kayaking, paddle boarding, and other non-motorized water sports are typically included), Room Service includes 24-hour room service of food. (Check the resort link in your invite for specific amenities offering at your resort)
Q. Are there excursions that we can participate in?
Sure thing! When it gets closer to travel, we will work with the group on planning a group excursion and we'll keep the group posted on any updates. If you would like to plan separate excursions, in this link you can find great options: Activities & Excursions.
Q. Can I upgrade my room?
Absolutely -as long as the resort has availability for your travel dates. See the Pricing page for rooms that we have pre-selected in our room block. If you wish to book a different room category, please indicate your desired room on your reservation form. Just Book It Travel will contact you with pricing and next steps.
Q. What if my potential travel companion (roomie) is TBD, unknown at this time, or not ready to book?
Time waits for no one :) Book without them and add them to your reservation at a later time. Since prices and availability are subject to change, be sure to reserve the room for just yourself and we can add them when they are ready. Solo occupancy hotel rates are sometimes higher than double occupancy. When we add your travel companion in the future, you'll recognize the double occupancy savings. Rates are refreshed at the time future changes are made.
Q. What if I find a price that is cheaper than Just Book It Travel?
Just Book It Travel has a "Price Match Guarantee" policy. Just Book It Travel attempts to find the lowest rate possible with the ability to make a flexible payment plan arrangements and with refundable options in the event of an emergency. Online travel companies often offer non-refundable rates and basic economy flight tickets.
Q. How do I purchase travel protection?
We recommend booking travel protection along with your itinerary. See Travel Protection options HERE. This travel protection plan must be purchased within one week of booking your room. If you are looking for independent, outside coverage that is purchased separately, please do your research and book with any trusted travel protection provider as soon as possible. Cancellation fees are non-refundable, except through qualified travel protection reimbursements.

Q. When is the final payment due?
All final payments are due March 31, 2022. Partial payments are encouraged, but not required. Reminders will be sent frequently.
Q. Does Mexico charge any mandatory governmental fees?
Several Municipalities in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Isla Mujeres have enacted an Environmental Tax to help maintain beaches and ecosystems. This tax is not included in any packages and therefore may be assessed directly by the hotel upon check out. The cost of the tax is approximately $1.30 USD, per night, per room.
There is also a new Cancun Tourism Tax:
Effective April 1st, 2021, arriving international visitors to the Cancun (CUN) airport will be required to pay $11 for the privilege of visiting Cancun and surrounding areas.
Q. What is the best way to find good flight deals?
Each guest is responsible for booking their own flights. We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight itself directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change.

Q. Which airport I should arrive/depart ?
When searching for flights, the airport you are flying to is Cancun International Airport (CUN).
Q. How do I get from the airport to the resort?
We highly recommend to secure your transportation in advance. You can get taxis or shuttle transportation at the airport/resort but they are usually more expensive when buying directly on the same day.
Pricing for your group for round Trip Transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport are:
Private Transportation: $35 per person (min 2 people) - direct service, only guests from the wedding group will be transported in the same vehicle (Recommended)
Shared Transportation: $25 per person (other, non-group related guests from other resorts may be on the same vehicle, may stop at other resorts)
Q. Do I need to have my passport prior to making my deposit for the trip?
Passports are required at the time of travel. As long as you provide Just Book It Travel with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance. Instructions to apply for passports can be found here.
Expedited Passports now can take up to 12 weeks - we do recommend getting your passport as soon as possible. Please allow 12-16 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport "acceptance facility". If you do not obtain your passport prior to travel, you are responsible for any associated cancellation fees.
Q. What are the COVID guidelines for entry and return to the US?
We will keep the group posted of any and all updates as it relates to the latest COVID-19 entry and exit requirements within 90 days prior to departure (when final payments are due). Since the regulations change frequently, we will keep all guests updated and informed when it is closer to travel.
Q: How can I best prepare for travel?
Please read this Pre-Travel Checklist to best prepare for travel. All confirmed guests will receive very detailed traveling instructions 7-10 days prior to travel.
Q. Does Just Book It Travel LOVE referrals?
